Thesis Proposal - Original Version

The purpose of this proposal is to clearly explain the scope of the redesign project on the EMD Serono Research Center - existing lab building and provide justification based on the existing condition of the facility.

Architectural Breadth
A study of the solar shading system will be done to determine the affect of solar shading device on reducing building load and thus reducing energy consumption.

Contruction Breadth
A coordination study will be done for the alternative systems to determine how each system will affect the mechanical space utilization inside this building.
